Vision

Glory Community was created to present a private, nonprofit option to families looking for a faith-based Christian environment and family-oriented community for their son or daughter with intellectual disabilities.

Because we wish to make this as affordable as possible, and because Glory Community will be a place where residents can become less dependent on welfare and more involved in the free enterprise system, we will establish business enterprises off site. These businesses will contribute to the overall operational budget, provide employment for the residents and contribute to the surrounding community.

This residential community will be centered on lifelong opportunities for vocational, social, emotional and spiritual growth. We aim to help our residents reach their highest God-given potential, but we want it to be done appropriately, guided by Christian principles and values. Glory community will help our residents to develop their strengths, their self confidence and become more independent, thus creating a full and balanced life for each resident. We believe God has created each individual on purpose and for a purpose.
