Development / Marketing Director

Glory Community, Broomfield, Colorado, is seeking a Development / Marketing Director.

Glory Community is a 501(C)3 organization where adults with developmental disabilities live, work and socialize together. Community was created to offer a private option to families looking for a faith-based Christian environment and family-oriented community for their son or daughter with intellectual disabilities. The services of Glory Community are operated free of government support, financed by resident fees and fundraising proceeds. The ideal candidate for Development / Marketing Director is a seasoned fund raising professional with demonstrated success in fundraising in the Denver area, who genuinely shares the vision of Glory Community.

The Development/Marketing Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of Glory Community’s fundraising activities including grants, major gifts, periodic appeals, planned giving, special events and capital campaigns. Marketing responsibilities include developing awareness of the Glory Community mission within the developmental disabilities community and area Christian churches.

House Parent Couple

The purpose of this position is to oversee the day-to-day activities of a group home for adults with developmental disabilities by providing a safe, secure and caring environment for our residents. The incumbent is responsible for training the home’s direct care staff and to meet the “home programming” goals for daily living activities and the social, spiritual and vocational needs of the residents. The House Parent Married Couple reports to the GC Assisted Living Administrator and interacts with their group home staff members in order to provide a true sense of community for our residents. This is a “live-in” position, ideally filled by a husband-wife team, which includes salary, an apartment and utilities.

GCAL is operated in a Christian environment and offers various opportunities for spiritual growth for its residents. To ensure that environment is maintained, incumbents for this position are expected to be mature Christian adults with personal integrity, character and reputation consistent with this goal and will model Christian values and lifestyle for our residents. Incumbents must be in good physical, mental and emotional health as evidenced by a stable, even disposition, a sense of humor and ego strength that subordinates personal, self-centered preferences and convenience to the greater good of the home and its residents.
