James A. Hembd, President & Founding Director Recently retired from Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. Most recent position was Director of Supply Chain Management. Prior positions included V. P. of Operations-Antenna Division and V.P. & General Manager-Microelectronic Products. Over 35 years of management experience in various high tech electronics companies. BS Degree-Electrical Engineering. Resides in Broomfield and is a parent of twins with Down Syndrome. Sandra L. Hembd, Secretary & Founding Director Over 30 years experience in non-profits as both volunteer and employee. This includes President of Long Beach Retarded Children’s Foundation Board, Special Olympics Colorado Board, various Special Olympic International Advisory committees, serving as the North American Special Olympics Family Global Leader and recently the Imagine! Foundation Board. BS Degree-Communications. Resides in Broomfield and is a parent of twins with Down Syndrome. Elizabeth Nelson Gable, Vice President & Director President & CEO of EMS Data Systems, Inc., co-founded in 1989. Has previously served the intellectually disabled in both paid & volunteer positions with Assoc. of Retarded Citizens, Children’s Psychiatric Center of N.J., Occupation Rehabilitation Center of N.Y. and the State of Colorado Health Dept. BS Degree in Neuro-Psychology, Masters Degree in Health Economics. Resides in Lafayette. Polly Tasset, Treasurer & Director Polly brings a wealth of bookkeeping experience to Glory Community. She is a self-employed property manager and bookkeeper who retired in December of 2010 from managing high end properties. She currently manages the International Neuropsychological Society’s annual conference, serves as a bookkeeper for a multi-million dollar oil and gas company and is the secretary/treasurer for Adswerve, Inc. Polly and her husband live in Peter Benson, Director Currently Senior Vice President of Community Development for Village Homes, Benson brings a world of experience in land acquisition, residential design and development, entitlements, sales, and site development. Past companies include Intrawest, Kaufman & Broad, and Vail Resorts. Peter has a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University and a Masters in Real Estate Development from MIT. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, ski, cycle, golf and travel. Resides in Castle Rock. Bud Frith, Director Director of Frith & Associates, Boulder, CO. Bud has been a Founder, CEO & Director of two technology based companies in Boulder County. He has also served as a Senior Executive for both large public corporations and small startup companies. His education is in science and engineering. Resides in Erie. Stephen Larson, Director A resident of Broomfield, Stephen has been a lawyer for the past 18 years focusing in litigation, real estate, water and contracts. He is a partner at Johnson & Repucci LLP and brings his legal expertise in corporate law to Glory Community. His interests include Nordic ski, hunting and fishing, music and he is active in Broomfield County Republicans. Evan McCaig, Director Currently working in the field of supply chain and management consulting, Evan is the founder of McCaig Ventures. His career path has included the Federal Reserve Bank as a bank examiner, a systems consultant and project manager for Manhattan Associates, Inc and co-founding, and then selling, a company relating to supply chain management. We welcome his experience in designing, building and managing a business and using technology to accelerate a project. In his spare time he enjoys all sports, camping with his family and reading. Resides in Boulder. Michael E. Myers, Director Recently retired and working now as a consultant, Mike worked for 30 years at Healthcare Software & Services in a variety of leadership positions including marketing, development, and management for startup and Fortune 15 companies. He brings a wealth of expertise in business and financial planning to Glory Community. Mike is the parent of a son with special needs. Dennis Quinn,
Currently employed with Keller Williams as a realtor, Dennis brings experience in land location, project development, working with city officials and construction experience to the Board. He and his wife currently own and operate two assisted living homes. Dennis is quite interested in the development of this community. In his spare time, he enjoys family events, camping and skiing. He and his family live in John Stevens,
